Roy Henry – Sculptor
July 2nd – Noon to 4pm — GALLERY INDIGENA (TORONTO)
Roy Henry is an Iroquois artist raised within the traditional culture and language of the Onondaga Nation, Deer Clan. He began carving at the age of 12. For many years, Roy has worked full time creating unique beautiful sculptures. The pure sight of his work takes one’s breath away and there are no true written words that describe this artists unique creativity. The uniqueness is seen within the sculpture, that this sculptor creates from his heart, mind and spirit of being a true Haudenosaunee.
