Our Story
Gallery Indigena began as a family business in the early 70s promoting the art of native peoples. Owner, Erla Boyer expresses a love and enthusiasm for the art of indigenous people. Their creative work is reflected in the gallery collections and in her deep involvement with the artists. Inukshuk Gallery (a division of Indigena) was established 15 years ago on Granville Island, Vancouver. Additionally, our Toronto Gallery continues to serve clients on a virtual platform.
Inukshuk Gallery is located on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Gallery Indigena is positioned on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and the Neutral (Attawandaron) Peoples.
